Questions on Pricing
Do you charge hourly rates?
We do not charge an hourly rate for our services, instead our charges are based on a fixed labour/diagnosis system where you pay a set rate, regardless of how long it takes us to carry out the repair.
Can I get a discount if it's a quick repair?
Our pricing is based on a fixed charge regardless of how long it takes, so we do not charge more for longer repairs but also do not charge less for quicker repairs. Our pricing structure balances out across the board and only works if everyone pays the same, regardless of the time taken.
I paid a diagnosis charge, why am I being quoted for "remaining labour"?
For the purpose of this example, we will use a labour charge of £90 and a diagnosis charge of £55, however your specific pricing may be different to this. If our engineer visits and determines that parts are required and they do not have them in their van, you would pay a diagnosis charge, in this case £55. When we then quote you for parts, that quote would include the remaining labour, in this case £35. Although you pay the labour in 2 separate amounts, the overall labour you would pay would be the labour cost originally quoted, in this case £55 diagnosis + £35 Remaining Labour = £90 Total Labour Paid.
